City of Cleveland seeks volunteers for annual Clean Up Cleveland event

The City of Cleveland is calling for volunteers to participate in its annual “Clean Up Cleveland” event, scheduled for Saturday, April 25, at Stancil Park.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Stancil Park, located at 211 Peach Ave., and is aimed at helping keep the community clean and well maintained.

Residents are invited to participate, whether to give back to the community, earn volunteer hours or spend time outdoors with neighbors.

City officials said lunch will be provided for all participants. Goodie bags will be available for the first 100 volunteers to arrive, and door prizes will be awarded during the event. Organizers will also recognize groups with awards for the largest team and the best-designed team shirt.

Those interested in participating are asked to submit a registration form by April 3. Forms may be delivered in person to the Civic Center at 210 Peach Ave. or submitted by email to civiccenter@cleveland.texas.gov.
