Barbara Jean Pryor, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and beloved member of her community, entered into rest on March 23, 2026, in Cleveland, Texas. Born on June 18, 1956, in Houston, Texas, Barbara’s life was marked by warmth, faith, and an enduring spirit that touched all who knew her.

Barbara’s heart was woven deeply into simple pleasures and meaningful commitments. She found joy in fishing and tending her garden, activities that nourished her love for nature and brought peace to her days. She also enjoyed quiet moments spent reading books while drinking a comforting cup of coffee. Beyond her personal joys, Barbara was a faithful servant to the Lord, dedicating her life to her faith and inspiring those around her with her steadfast devotion.

She is lovingly remembered by her son, Jason Pryor, and his wife Michelle, whose lives she filled with unconditional love and guidance. Her legacy is carried forward through her grandchildren: Tanna Pryor, LeAnn Pryor, Cevanna Pryor, Braiden Pryor, Kaytin Jordan, Kristina Gulledge, and Kollin Reyna, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Barbara also treasured her siblings: Joe Kelly, Sharon Delema, Carolyn Kelly, Rita Warren, and Dona Brandon, along with numerous beloved nieces, nephews, family members, and close friends who will celebrate her remarkable life.

Barbara found eternal peace alongside her beloved parents, J.T. and Florence Kelly, and her siblings Patricia Sumrall, Jimmy Spinks, Jesse Spinks, Kenneth Kelly, John Thomas Kelly, and Billy Jo Fisher—whose memories she carried with her always.

A visitation in honor of Barbara’s legacy will be held at Neal Funeral Home, located at 200 S Washington Ave, Cleveland, Texas, 77327, on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., followed by her funeral service at the same location from beginning at 12:00 p.m. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Barbara’s kindness are invited to gather to honor her memory and to find comfort in one another.

Barbara Jean Pryor’s life was a testament to love, faith, and gentle strength. In her passing, she leaves a profound silence — one filled with gratitude for a life well-lived, a spirit well-loved, and a soul now at peace. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who knew her.
