Dustin Aaron Pfitzner went home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2026. He is survived by his parents, Vernon and Penny Pfitzner; his siblings, Patricia; Stephanie and her husband, Santos; Matthew and his wife, Lauren; William Pfitzner; Joseph Pitre; Joshua Pitre and his wife, Heather; his fiancé, Tiernan Legendre; and many extended family members.
Dustin was born on Dec. 30, 1998, in Houston, Texas. He attended school in Dayton, Texas, and graduated in 2017. Growing up, Dustin developed a strong love for church, his family, and cooking for his loved ones.
He enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends and was always devoted to helping others. Dustin and Tiernan shared a passion for caring for animals in need and nurturing them together. He was adventurous and loved exploring and experiencing all that life had to offer. Whether making others laugh or helping them through difficult times, Dustin was always there.
Dustin’s memory will be forever cherished, and his legacy will live on through his family and friends. One of his favorite quotes is “Come heavy or don’t come at all”
Dustin’s viewing will be at Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main St. Dayton, Texas, 77535, on Friday, April 10, 5 – 8 p.m. The Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, April 11, at 11 a.m., at New Life Kenefick, 3056 FM 1008, Dayton, Texas, 77535.
