Alva Pearl Davis Clark

Alva Pearl Davis Clark, 80, of Liberty, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Grace House Assisted Living in Liberty.

Alva Pearl was born April 11, 1945, in Liberty, to Parents; Robert Lee Davis and Vera Worthy Davis. She was a graduate of Liberty High School, Retired as a Technician from TxDOT, Member of Hardin Baptist Church, and a Member of the Red Hat Society. Her commitment to her church and community was evident through Meals on Wheels, The Bereavement Committee, and Prison Ministry Services. Alva Pearl also cared deeply for her friends and family and was ready to help at a moment’s notice. Alva Pearl enjoyed traveling – accomplishing visits to all 50 states, her “flowers”, watching red birds, attending the opera, attending her Grandchildren’s sporting events, Taco Tuesdays and front porch chats with her friends and family. Alva Pearl was full of life and surprises, always ready for the next adventure.

Alva Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Davis and Vera Worthy Davis, Husband; Jerry Von Clark, and Husband; Marvin H. Smith. She is survived by her Son; Kenny Collins and wife Becca, Brother; James Lee “Sonny” Davis and Wife Lydia, Grandchildren; Haleigh Lively and Husband Johnny and Anna Tristan. Bonus Daughters; Michele Andreu and Terri Stelly, Bonus Grandchildren; Jordan Nolan and Hannah Watson, Great-Grandchildren; Carson and Charleigh Lively, and Josie Tristan. Bonus Great-Grandchildren; Halen Watson, Jaymison Dyess, and Jessa Watson. Lifelong Friend and Partner in Crime; JoJo Hanel, and numerous other relatives, and friends.

The family would like to thank Grace House and their staff; Camie and Dale Brock, Judy, Desiree, Jaycee, Alexis, Jaeden, Deanna, and Miss Porter, for their care and love given to Alva Pearl. Also, Horizon Hospice and her nurse Rachel.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the Allsion Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Allison Funeral Service Chapel with Interment following at Worthy Cemetery.
