The Taylor-Odom Foundation has announced its 2026 scholarship recipients, awarding a total of $70,000 in college scholarships to seven Liberty County students graduating from area high schools this May.
The 2026 winners are Sydney Nations, Adelyn Condra, Madison Parker, Zander Antonio Davila, Lleyton Michael Berry, Richard Jacob Caster, and Jaliyah Jy’Nique Stewart.
The foundation provides financial assistance to graduating seniors in Liberty County who may not otherwise be able to afford higher education. Scholarship amounts vary depending on whether a student plans to pursue a four-year degree, a two-year degree, or a vocational or technical certification from an accredited institution in Texas.

This year marks the seventh year the Taylor-Odom Foundation has awarded scholarships. Since its inception, the foundation has awarded more than $1 million to local students, helping open doors to continued education and career opportunities.
The foundation was established in honor of Davey Lea Taylor Odom and Douglas E. “Doc” Odom, whose values emphasized the importance of education and hard work as keys to a successful life.
In addition to recognizing student achievement, the foundation’s mission highlights the importance of community support in ensuring that local graduates have access to the resources needed to continue their education and build a strong future.
