Family-run Aneres Healthcare opens doors in Liberty with focus on preventative care

Tracy Allen, owner of Aneres Healthcare and Wellness Centers, cuts the ribbon at the new Liberty location alongside her daughter, Shelby Yarbrough, during a March 20 ceremony hosted by the Trinity Valley Chamber of Commerce.

The Trinity Valley Chamber of Commerce welcomed a new healthcare provider to Liberty on March 20 with a ribbon cutting ceremony for Aneres Healthcare and Wellness Centers, now open at 1809 Grand Ave.

The Liberty clinic marks the second location for the growing practice. Its original office is located at 9675 Eagle Drive in the Mont Belvieu area, where the company first began serving patients.

Owned by Tracy Allen of Hardin, Aneres Healthcare is a family-run practice. Allen and her daughter, Shelby Yarbrough, both serve as family nurse practitioners, with Yarbrough managing daily operations at both locations.

The name “Aneres” itself carries personal meaning. It is “Serena” spelled backward, a tribute to Allen’s grandmother and Yarbrough’s great-grandmother—reflecting the family foundation behind the business.

At its core, the clinic offers primary care services, including wellness visits, preventative care, and chronic condition management. However, Yarbrough said their approach goes a step further by blending traditional medicine with what is often referred to as integrative care.

“I can handle a chronic condition,” Yarbrough explained, “but if I can prevent you from having a chronic condition, that’s what I love to do.”

In addition to routine care, the clinic offers services such as vitamin infusions, IV hydration, hormone testing and therapy, and weight management programs. Patients can also receive more in-depth lab work, including expanded hormone and thyroid panels, with an emphasis on helping patients better understand their results.

Yarbrough said education is a key part of their philosophy. Many patients, she noted, have had lab work done for years without ever fully understanding what those results mean or how they impact their health.

The clinic accepts commercial insurance and self-pay patients and is currently working toward credentialing with Medicare to better serve the Liberty area’s growing senior population.

Another goal of the Liberty location is convenience. Many services—such as iron infusions or specialized treatments—often require patients to travel to larger cities. By offering those options locally, the clinic hopes to make care more accessible to residents closer to home.

Both the Liberty and Mont Belvieu locations offer the same range of services, with providers rotating between offices to meet patient needs. The practice currently staffs multiple nurse practitioners across both locations, allowing for flexibility and continued growth.

Looking ahead, Yarbrough said expansion is already part of the plan. While no location has been finalized, the company hopes to open a third clinic in the future, with areas like Winnie being considered.

For now, the focus remains on building relationships in Liberty and providing a quality healthcare experience.
