Marguerite Sliger

Marguerite L. Sliger, 69, of Rye, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. She was born on Tuesday, September 21, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland to Harold and Mildred Barber, both of whom have preceded her in death. Marguerite was also preceded in death by her husband, James William McGowan, Sr., brothers, Bud Barber and Bob Barber. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Charles Sliger; children, James William McGowan Jr. and wife Jackie, Don W. McGowan and wife Stephanie, Fred P. McGowan and wife Cari, Christopher D. McGowan and wife Cathy, Amarie Ganter and husband Shannon; brother, Leo Barber and wife Deborah; 7 grandchildren, Cody, Tyler and wife Adriana, Preston, James, Dustin, Gracie, Heaven; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. A celebration of life for Marguerite will be held at Second Baptist Church, 1320 Scott St. Pasadena, TX 77506 on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 12 noon .

All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
