Joshua Edward Walters

With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Joshua. Josh was born January 19, 1990 in Kansas City, Missouri. Josh went home to be with the Lord June 11, 2018 at University Medical Center, New Orleans surrounded by his family.

Josh leaves behind three precious children Kirsten, 12 and Bradley, 9 both of Santa Fe, Texas. Averie, 2 of Shepherd, Texas. Josh loved and adored his children.

Josh was raised in Santa Fe, Texas by his parents Debra and Lewis Hubbard, where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends.

Joshua is survived by his three children, significant other Courtney Granger of Shepherd, Texas, mother Debra Hubbard of Cleveland, Texas, grandmothers Kathy Want of Shepherd, Texas and Patricia Orlando of Houston, Texas. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Josh is preceded in death by his dad Lewis Eugene Hubbard, Jr., pawpaw Wesley Want, Sr., grandpa Lewis Hubbard, Sr., grandfather Rickey Haston and great-grandpa Elmer Haston.

A special thank you to his aunt Jennifer Walters Shelenberger for reaching out and helping Josh through a difficult time in his life. It meant so much to Josh.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. In lieu of flowers donation may be made in Josh’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
