Robert Oren “Dogger” Jackson

Robert Oren “Dogger” Jackson, age 58 of Houston, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018. He was born January 25, 1960 in Houston, Texas to parents Joe Jackson and Bonnie Moore. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, O.C. and Jessie Jackson, and Robert and Sue Moore; and niece, Morgan Leeann Derryberry.

Robert was a 1978 graduate of Cy-Fair High School, and attended SW Texas State University.

Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Moore Deiss; father, Joe Dowdell Jackson; stepmother, Janet Jackson; stepfather, Alvin Deiss; sisters, Valerie Jackson Walters and Page Alison Sohl; stepsister, Ingrid Berglund Harris; stepbrother, Jon Paul Berglund; nephew, Blair Jackson Derryberry; nieces, Ayla Chayne Sohl and Alison Page Sohl; step-nieces, Audrey Margaret Harris and Grace Ann Harris; step-nephew, Jon William Berglund; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Paul Horton United Methodist Church, Coldspring, Texas. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Coldspring, Texas.
