Paula Joyce Wardlaw Ubnoskye

Paula Joyce Wardlaw Ubnoskye, 60, of Dayton passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 in Baytown, Texas. She was born August 3, 1957 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to parents, Fletcher “Gene” and Alice Lacey Wardlaw.
Services for Paula will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2018 at St. Anne’s s Catholic Church in Eastgate with interment to follow at Eastgate Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home. Rosary will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Paula was a long time resident of Dayton and a 1976 graduate of Dayton High School. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Ole Tyme Days, and Dayton Young Farmers. Paula served on many committees through the years, giving her all to each one. She worked for Baker Performance Chemical for over 10 years. Paula loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved dancing, traveling and anything involving her grandkids. She will be surely missed by all that knew and loved her.
Paula was preceded in death by her father, Fletcher Wardlaw, her husband Larry Ubnoskye. She is survived by her mother, Alice Wardlaw of Kenefick; son, Chad Ubnoskye and wife Genevieve of Eastgate; daughter, Shauna Taplin and husband Henry of Eastgate; grandchildren, Chase Taplin, Rowdy Taplin, Maddy Taplin, and Cade Ubnoskye; sisters, Kathy Holt and husband Bobby of Eastgate and Charlotte Statum and husband Bill of Kenefick; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
