Emerson Enloe “Papa Emerson”, 87, of Plum Grove, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018. He was born on Tuesday, September 30, 1930 in Plum Grove, Texas to Joe and Reba Enloe, both of whom have preceded him in death. Emerson was also preceded in death by Martha Enloe, his brothers, Boyd Enloe, Archie Enloe, JC Enloe, Harvey Enloe, sisters, Lottie Jo Young, and Ruth Lehnis. Left to cherish his memory is his sister Margaret Redesky the mother of his children Loyce Enloe Wood; sons, Danny Enloe and wife Karen, Noble Enloe and wife Paula, Donald Enloe and wife Maria; daughters, Elaine Whitmire and husband Wayne, Lesa Hennigan and husband Russell, Sheila Hardy and husband Bubba; step daughter, Barbara Lovings and husband Keith; step daughter, Susan Poole and husband Fox; along with 23 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Emerson will be held at Neal Funeral Home on July 09, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at First Pentecostal Church of Splendora on July 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Interment for Emerson will immediately follow at Plum Grove Cemetery. Rev. E.W. Whitmire and Rev. Ronald Culberth will be officiating.
