Lillian Maude Bass

Lillian Maude Bass, 76, of Saratoga, gained her angel wings Monday, July 9, 2018, at Kountze Nursing Center. She was born August 10, 1941, in Cleveland, TX to Daily and Lonnie Crockett DeHart and lived most of her life in the Saratoga area where she was a homemaker.

Lillian is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne Bass; son, David Bass; daughter, April Bass; brother, Frank DeHart; and sister, Ruth Rice.

Those left to cherish her memory are; son, Charles “Bo” Bass and wife Debra of Silsbee; daughters, Dianne Bass and husband John Klecker of Schulenberg, TX, Eva Hall and husband David of Honey Island, Tommie Taylor and husband Gary of Daisetta, and Pauline Bass of Saratoga; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a host of loving friends.

A service of remembrance will be Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Roadside Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend Nathan Hendrix and Reverend D.J. Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Hall Cemetery in Thicket. A gathering of Lillian’s family and friends will be Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also at Roadside Memorial Baptist Church.

Honoring Lillian as pallbearers are Ray Fowler, Dustin Hall, Cody Riley, Raven Bass, Hudie Ener, Russell Rodgers, Mark Bell, and Dakota Collier. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher and Eli Fowler.
