Albert Murray “Butch” Maxwell, Sr.

Albert Murray “Butch” Maxwell, Sr., 76, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018. He was born on Sunday, March 8, 1942, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, to William Bell Maxwell and Nellie Elizabeth (Moore) Maxwell, both of whom have preceded him in death. Left to cherish his memory is his loving spouse of forty years, Nancy (Cheatham) Maxwell; children, Sibyl Dougherty and husband David, Albert Maxwell, Jr. and Christina, Sharen White and husband Rob, John Maxwell, Carin Galloway and husband Tony, Henry Maxwell; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for “Butch” will be held at Neal Funeral Home, on Friday, July 20, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Funeral services will commence at 5 p.m. Pastor George Hayden officiating.
All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
