Time running out to purchase TVE memberships

Community Report

Aug. 1 is the deadline to purchase a $25 membership for the Trinity Valley Exposition, which hosts an annual rodeo and county fair in Liberty each October. The TVE Fair and Rodeo dates this year are Oct. 12-20, 2018.

Each $25 membership entitles a person to free parking and a badge that gets them into rodeo performances for free.

“You will also get a free ticket for a guest to each night’s performance,” said Jennifer Regen, part of the TVE committee pushing the membership drive. “All of the proceeds from the memberships goes toward scholarships for our local kids. It is an easy way to directly support the next generation in the community.”

The membership drive is a push to get more local citizens to volunteer for TVE whether in livestock events, parades and barbecue cook-offs. The help is always needed by this volunteer organization.
