Tommy Jackson

Tommy Jackson passed away suddenly at the age of 71 in a Anahuac, Texas on July 20, 2018. He was born on November 30, 1946 in Liberty, Texas to the parents of Albert and Josephine Jackson.

Tommy was a Member of the Oak Island VFD and worked for the Chambers County Solid Waste Department for the past five years. He loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren. Tommy was a Paw Paw to all, he was hard to understand at times. Tommy had good times and bad ones, but he always came through for the family. Sometimes he never understood the choices of the kids as they were growing up, but he let them learn if they made a mistake and he stood by them and loved them.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Ruth Ann Jackson of 35 years; son Troy Glenn Wiggins; daughter Julie Ann Wiggins; brothers Andrew Phillip, Leslie Howard Jackson, Albert E. Jackson. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his wife of eighteen years, Betty J. Jackson, children; Billie Frances Wiggins, Brice Wiggins, Vivian Wiggins; step son William Jackson and wife Samantha; sisters Helen Marie Andrew, Betty Jackson and husband Charles; brother Marvin Ray Jackson. Numerous grandchildren, great-greatgrandchildren and other loving family and friends
