4 people injured in accident west of Dayton Sunday

A two-vehicle accident west of Dayton Sunday afternoon on US 90 sent four people to local hospitals, according to Officer El Chico Garcia with Dayton Police Department.

A white 2014 Dodge Ram driven by Eric Anthony Kreuger, 38, of Liberty, was traveling westbound on US 90 when a blue 2003 Ford Expedition, driven by Danielle Megan Weigle, 18, of Dayton, crossed into his path.

Weigle reportedly was traveling on CR 602, had crossed the railroad track and was passing through the westbound lanes of US 90 when her vehicle was struck.

Garcia said the impact destroyed the third-row seating area of Weigle’s vehicle.

Kruger and his passenger, as well as Weigle and her passenger, were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
