Liberty Opry sets September schedule

If you are looking for entertainment close to home, the Liberty Opry has a variety of performances slated for September. Listed below is the schedule:

  • Sept. 1 – Closed in observance of Labor Day
  • Sept. 8 – All gospel – 4 p.m.; the cost is $15 per ticket — featuring Matthew Butler, Melissa Evers, Liberty Opry Band and comedian “Booger Lee.”
  • Sept. 15 – Swamp Pop and Classic Oldies – 4 p.m.; the cost is $15 per ticket — featuring Gene Bourgeois, Charles Mann, Liberty Opry Band and comedian “Booger Lee.” These two legendary swamp pop artists from Beaumont, Texas, and Louisiana will be rockin’ the Opry stage!  Don’t miss out!
  • Sept. 22 – no show scheduled
  • Sept. 29 – Doo Wop and Classic Oldies – 4 p.m.; the cost is $20 — featuring Shake Rattle and Roll (Lee Ann Bemis, Sissy Perry, Brenda Spencer and Tavie Spivey), Liberty Opry Band and comedian “Booger Lee.”  The one and only all-female show group that performs the tunes of the 50s and 60s with music, comedy, memories and more!  Come and join the fun!
