Daniel “Danny” Elmer Williams

Daniel “Danny” Elmer Williams, 66, of Honey Island, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Baptist Hospital, Beaumont, after a brief illness. He was born March 19, 1952 in Dayton, to Mabel Rosa Trahan Williams and Elmer Eurthy Williams. He graduated from Hull-Daisetta High School and attended Stephen F. Austin State University. He worked for Texaco for many years.

He enjoyed watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns, and spending time with friends, family and his dogs Jane, Niecey, Daisy, and Junebug. Danny is survived by his two sons, David “Glenn” Williams and fiance´ Amanda Vore of Daisetta, Eric Daniel Williams and wife Mindy of Houston, his daughter RaeAnn Morris and husband Patrick of Round Rock, TX, their mother Paulette Shivers Williams, and his three grand-children, Daniel Garrett Williams, Austin Lee Williams, and Alice Jean Williams. He is also survived by his sisters, Janet Hundley of Hull, Sharon Ferguson and husband Elvis of Mt. Belvieu, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mabel and Elmer Williams, sisters Jo Ann Williams and Jean Barrier, and his brothers-in-law Sam Hundley and Sonny Barrier.

Visitation for Danny will be held Monday, September 3, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Allison Funeral Service, 1101 N. Travis Liberty, Texas. Funeral services to be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 104 Red Bud, Daisetta TX.
