Melanie Diane Williams

Melanie Diane Williams, 39, of Liberty, died Saturday, September 8, 2018, at her residence. She was born July 19, 1979, in Conroe, TX, to the late Karen Houk and lived in the Liberty area most of her life.

Melanie was a career driven woman and was most proud of her assistant manager career with Wal-Mart. In her spare time Melanie enjoyed reading books and spending time with family and friends.

Melanie is preceded in death by her mother, Karen Houk; grandmother, Rosalie Hayes; brother, Michael David Fields; and aunt, Penny Ervin.

Those left to cherish her memory are sisters, Melissa Fields of Baytown and Miranda Morgan and husband Stephen of Dayton; sister-in-law, Betty Jo Morgan and husband John Klaus of Houston; nieces, Quanisha Fields and Stephenie Morgan; nephews, Isaiah Stevenson, Stephen Morgan Jr., Shane Morgan, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith & Family Funeral Services, Inc. with Reverend Woody Sonnier officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Liberty. A gathering of Melanie’s family and friends will be Thursday, September 13, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also at Faith & Family Funeral Services, Inc

Honoring Melanie as pallbearers are: Isaiah Stevenson, Stephen Morgan Jr., Shane Morgan, Danny Ramis, Casey Sawyer, James Wormington, and Robleh Goud.
