Cyrena Mae McWilliams, 74, of Dayton, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2018 at her residence. She was born on June 20, 1944 in Willowick, Ohio.
Cyrena was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She was a bit feisty, a jokester and full of spunk. Cyrena enjoyed playing Lucky 7’s, flower and vegetable gardening and spending time with her family, but especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cyrena was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Sally Peel; her son Tommy Barber; loving husband Melvin L. Cupp and later loving husband George L. McWilliams. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons Mark Cupp and wife Mindy of Baytown, Michael Cupp and wife Monica of Dayton and Melvin Cupp of Dayton; daughter Julia Morris Cupp; and countless other “adopted” children; her 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; her dearest friends Claudean Wilson and Laura Pogacnik both of Humble and Lawrence “Mac” McElwee of Livingston Tx ; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
