Judith “Judy” L. Riegert

Judith “Judy” L. Riegert, 66, of Kenefick passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Liberty, Texas. She was born July 22, 1952 in Baytown, Texas to parent Ralph and Melba Yates Waldrop.

Service for Judy will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m.

Judy had been a resident of Kenefick for the past 13 years after moving from Baytown. She was a member of the New Life Church in Kenefick and the Kenefick Ladies Civic Club. Judy had worked for over 22 years as a nurse.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Bill Riegert. Judy is survived by her husband of 30 years, Bobby Riegert; son, Allen Leach and wife Daniell; daughter, Roxane Cates and husband Marvin; mother-in-law, Charmie Riegert; brother, Tommy McIntyre and three other brothers; sister, Sandy Rowell; grandchildren, Chelsey, Calvin, Linda and Jessica Cates, Tori and Haleigh Leach; great-grandchild, Jameson Massey; lifelong friend, Kathy Campbell; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
