Erma Lee Laster Barnett

Erma Lee Laster Barnett, 85, of Crosby passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 in Baytown, Texas. She was born March 13, 1933 in Amity, Arkansas to parents, Edgar Franklin Laster and Bertha Ashley Laster.

Services for Mrs. Barnett will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 12, 2018 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at Pace-Stancil.

Erma was a longtime resident of Crosby. She had worked for many years in Baytown for Weiner’s and Kmart. She loved her church and enjoyed going to revivals. Erma also enjoyed sewing.

Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Barnett; and infant son, James Edgar Barnett. She is survived by sons, Ronald Barnett and wife Daisy and Arnold Barnett and wife Cindi; daughters, Linda Sutton and husband Terry, Glenda Howe and husband Jerry and Connie Barnett; eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Edna Roberts, Nora Sikes, Carolyn White, Joyce Mosley and Gay Laster; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
