Betty Lou Kee Brown

Betty Lou Kee Brown, 79 of Santa Fe passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2018 in Texas City. She was born September 30, 1939 in Possum Kingdom, Texas to parents, Joseph Kee and Flossie Woods Kee.

Graveside service for Mrs. Brown will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2018 at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Serving as pallbearers are Randy Brown, Donnie Brown, Matthew Brown, Dennis Harkins, C.W. Collier, Ricky Brown and Kameron Brown.

Betty had lived in Dayton for 23 years after moving from Houston. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and most of all being with her family and grandchildren. Betty worked for Wal-Mart for over 23 years.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William F. Brown; son, Warren Gable; grandson, Dale Gable and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughter, Brenda Harkins and husband Dennis of Santa Fe; son, Ricky Brown of Conroe; grandchildren, Ray Dean Gable, Lamar Gable, Randy Brown, Donnie Brown, Tyler Brown and Matthew Brown; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
