James Jay Robertson

James Jay Robertson age 72 passed away Wednesday October 17, 2018 at his home in Houston, Texas. James was born June 30, 1946 in Daisetta, Texas the son of the late Sidney George Robertson and Odealia Mae Laird Robertson. James enjoyed reading, taking walks, tinkering on radios and televisions, and spending time with his family. James never met a stranger and was a Master Mason for the Hull Masonic Lodge #1193. A Vietnam veteran James served the US Navy from 1963-1969 aboard an aircraft carrier. James worked for over twenty five years as a Crane Operator with Champion Paper Mill. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brother Hugh Robertson and a sister Elaine Jones. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of twenty-eight years Jennifer Hines Robertson, daughters Christy Robertson, Jami Robertson, and Codi Robertson and husband Michael, son Nathan Robertson, sisters Blanche Buchanan and Linda Bradley, as well as a brother Roger Robertson. In addition James leaves his four grandchildren, Soren Robertson, Nicolas Peoples, Harrison Souza, and Adelyne Souza. A graveside service will be held for James at 1:30PM Monday October 22, 2018 at Guedry Cemetery, Batson, Texas. Condolences and memories can be shared online at www.allisonfuneralservice.com.
