Michael Freeman Garner

Michael Freeman Garner, age 71 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018. He was born July 24, 1947 in Kingsville, Texas to parents Willie Freeman Garner and Margie Marcelle Fowler Garner who he is preceded by in death.

Mr. Garner was a soft spoken man who loved talking to people, sitting outside having a cold beer and listening to country music. Michael proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Green Beret during Vietnam. He achieved the rank of Sergeant and had over 2,000 jumps during his tenure in the armed forces.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Noble; daughters, Lisa Garner Santa and husband Matthew, and Shana Ann Garner Taormina and husband Michael; son, Scott Freeman Garner and wife Brandy; grandchildren, Marc Santa, Ethan Garner and Anthony Taormina; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas.
