Walter Nelson Sr., 86, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. He was born on Wednesday, September 7, 1932 in Niceville, Florida to Walter T. Nelson and Eva Nelson. Walter was also preceded in death by his father, Walter T. Nelson, mother, Eva Nelson, brother, Eddie Nelson, sister, Mavis Orr. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 63 years Geraldine Nelson; son, Walter Nelson Jr; daughter & son-in-law, Jerri Lynn Forrest & husband Jerry; daughter & son-in-law, Janice Ann Hosea & husband James; brother, Howard Nelson; three grandsons, Walter Nelson III, Jack Nichols III, Charles Hill; three granddaughters, Virginia Nelson, Stephanie Bunyard, Casey Chandler; along with 13 great grandchildren and numerous other loving family and treasured friends. Visitation for Walter will be held at Neal Funeral Home on November 3, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Funeral Services for will be held at Neal Funeral Home on Sunday November 4, 2018, at 2 pm. Interment for Walter will immediately follow at 1st Baptist Church of Romayor Cemetery.
