Teddy Paul Melton

Teddy Paul Melton, 78, of Kenefick, died Saturday, December 1, 2018 in Kingwood, Texas. He was born March 24, 1940 in Paris, Texas to parents Harry Melton and Winnie Bolton Melton.
Graveside service for Mr. Melton will be 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Magnolia Park Cemetery.

Mr. Melton had lived in Kenefick for the past 16 years after moving from Channelview. He had worked as a production specialist in the oilfield industry. A true family man he was a great father and grandfather.

Teddy was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Harry Melton, Gene Melton, J.D. Melton, Tooter Melton, and Jerry Melton; also his sister Doris Melton. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janis Melton of Kenefick; son, Kenneth Melton of Kenefick; daughter, Carla Broussard of Dayton; grandchildren, Becky Zlomke, Trey Zlomke, and Sean Melton; four great-grandchildren; sister, Faye Ybarbo and husband Tom of Kenefick; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
