Public’s help wanted to identify theft suspects

The San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying two individuals believed to be responsible for a theft on John Warren Road near SH 150.

The theft occurred on Nov. 21 at an unknown time at an old telephone company substation where a generator is housed, according to the SJCSO statement.

“Approximately 300 gallons of diesel fuel was stolen. The security camera was broken by the suspects and the fence was damaged by their entry,” the statement continues.

The two individuals are white males in a white or two-tone white and unknown color Dodge Ram Mega Cab pickup with a fuel tank in the bed of the truck. It is believed the truck had a lift kit installed.

Anyone with information about these two persons should contact Det. David Hernandez at the San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office by dialing 936-653-4367 or the Multi-County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-392-7867.
