W. T. Nugent

W. T. Nugent, 93 of Linden, Texas passed away peacefully on January 2, 2019 in Hughes Spring, Texas. He was born on March 6, 1925 in Liberty, Texas to the parents of Elder and Liza Nugent. W.T. grew up in Liberty, Texas. He enjoyed being in the garden and loved going to boats in Louisiana.

W.T. was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Willie Nugent, Dixie Nugent, A.L. Nugent and  J.L. Nugent; sisters, Selma Fontenot, Mandy Abel and Edna Fregia; dear friend and care taker John Roberts.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to gather with the family at 1PM on January 5, 2018 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Homes in Dayton, Texas located at 602 N. Main St. Services for W.T. Nugent will be held following the visitation at 2PM. Interment to follow at Monroe-Fregia Cemetery in Liberty, Texas.
