Dayton dance squad dazzles the competition at BH meet

The Dayton Dazzlers perform at a dance competition at Barbers Hill High School.

The Dayton High School Dazzlers proved they are aptly named at a competition on Feb. 2 at Barbers Hill High School. The team took the Sweepstakes Award, Judge’s Award for Kick, Bronze Award for Choreography and was first runner-up in the Medium Team Division.

The Medium Ensemble and Officers received Best in Class while the Officers and Social Officers received a Division 1 rating.

The team is under the direction of Shayann Johnson, dance teacher.
