Virginia Olive Carbaugh Wilburn

Virginia Olive Carbaugh Wilburn, 85, of Dayton passed away peacefully February 11, 2019 in Baytown. She was born September 5, 1933 in McConnelsberg, PA to parents William and Florence Rhodes Carbaugh.

Service for Virginia will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 18, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Lee Sowell officiating. Interment will follow at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday at Pace-Stancil.
Virginia had lived in the Dayton area since 1979 after moving from Pennsylvania. She had managed Conoco, and had been bartender at several of the local social clubs. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and going to the casino. She loved her grandbabies and her family was her life. Pink roses were one of her favorite flowers.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ray Gordon, son, John Howard Gordon and daughters, Katherine Gordon and Bonnie Gordon. She is survived by sons, Ray Gordon, Charlie Gordon and wife Lynn, and Buck Gordon and wife Charlotte; grandchildren, Troy Gordon, Carrie and Eric Daniels, Trina and Brandon Kervin, Tracy and Jeremy Johnson, Rayann and Kevin Butler, Kevin and Rhonda Gordon, Jody and Mike Joy, Daniel and Cassidy Gordon, Bubba and Corrie Gordon, Heather Gordon, Ashley and Nathan Gunter, Amber Gordon and Destiny Gordon; twenty-three great-grandchildren; nephew, Robert Carbaugh and wife Linda; great-niece, Concetta Carbaugh; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
