Larry Phillip Cox

Larry Phillip Cox, 54, of Hull passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Larry was born May 27, 1964, in Mullins, SC to George Larry Cox and Camille Dunn Deason. He worked as a pipefitter in the oilfield industry and lived most of his life in the Hull area. He never met a stranger and made friends with everyone he came across and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Larry is preceded in death by his father, George Larry Cox; son, Phillip Kelby Cox; sister, Julie Guinn; and step-father, Dwayne Deason.

Those left to cherish his memory is his mother, Camille Deason of Hull; daughters, Kelsea Michelle Cox, and Kayle Allyse Cox, both of Raywood; brother, Robert Wayne Dunn and wife Robin of Pilot Point, TX; sister, Terresa Dawn Irby of Hull; brother-in-law, Joel Guinn of Mansfield, TX; grandchildren, Kolby Brice Cox, and Caleb Raloyd Gabriel; special niece, Alecia Renee’ Dorman of Lumberton; great-niece, Reagan Nicole Whittlesey; and a host of numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

A service of remembrance will be Saturday, March 16, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Faith & Family Funeral Services, interment will follow at Guedry Cemetery. A gathering of Larry’s family and friends will be Friday, March 15, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also at Faith and Family Funeral Services.

Honoring Larry as pallbearers will be Chance Dorman, J.P. Ellis, Kyle Rogers, and David Rogers.
