Cheryle Lynne Gebora

Cheryle Lynne Gebora, 59, of Cleveland, Texas passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019.  She was born on Thursday, July 9, 1959, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Lester Markland and Bernice Inez (Rogers) Kirby.  Cheryle was preceded in death by her father, Lester Markland Kirby.  Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 23 years, David Ryburn Glover; children, Jaimie Kirby, Kaci Gebora and wife Ashley, Lilly Glover, Sam Glover; mother, Bernice Kirby; sisters, Paula Fonger and husband Gil, Brenda Johnson; grandchildren, Alex Rivas, Cecilia Rivas, Jadin Rivas, Raegan Gebora, Jack Gebora; along with numerous other loving family and treasured friends.

All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.

Before creating Bluebonnet News in 2018, Vanesa Brashier was a community editor for the Houston Chronicle/Houston Community Newspapers. During part of her 12 years at the newspapers, she was assigned as the digital editor and managing editor for the Humble Observer, Kingwood Observer, East Montgomery County Observer and the Lake Houston Observer, and the editor of the Dayton News, Cleveland Advocate and Eastex Advocate. Over the years, she has earned more than two dozen writing awards, including Journalist of the Year.
