Jesse Eugene “Gene” Usher

Jesse Eugene “Gene” Usher, age 65 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019. He was born November 25, 1953 in Houston, Texas to parents Jesse and Mary Usher who preceded him in death along with his sister, Carol Wheat; and brothers, Darryl Usher and David Usher.

Survivors include his wife, Ginger Usher; daughters, Amy Harte and spouse David, Valarie Hightower and spouse Clint; son, Douglas Usher and spouse Alisa; brother, Ronnie Usher; grandchildren, Courtney and Larry Castellow, Naomi Harte, Morgan and Dillan Allen, Natalie Hightower, Tyler Hightower and Carter Usher; great-granddaughter, Lowen Jade; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Cornerstone Church, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Cornerstone Church, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will be held at Lum’s Garden of Memories, Cleveland, Texas.
