Henry Edward Harper, age 92 of Groveton, Texas, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019. He was born April 23, 1926 in Caldwell, Texas to parents Lonnie and Hortense Harper who preceded him in death along with his son, Nolan Edward Harper; sister, Juanita Carter; and brothers, Robert Eugene Harper and Malcolm Harper, Sr.
Survivors include his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Samuel Harper; sisters, Catherine Allison, Mildred Holt, Vida Teel, Maydell Bolding and Jeanne Strawn; brother, Gary Harper, Sr.; along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 18, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church, Pine Valley, Texas. Services will follow starting at 2:00 p.m., Thursday. Interment will follow New Hope Cemetery, Pine Valley, Texas.
