Fred Herman Leisner

Fred Herman Leisner, 84, passed away Thursday April 25, 2019.  He was born Tuesday August 21, 1934, in Nacogdoches, Texas to Fred Anton and Ila Kathrine (Copeland) Leisner, both of whom have preceded him in death.  He is also preceded in death by his son, Fred Herman Leisner, Jr, Linda Jean Leisner, and son-in-law Gregory Duane Sauls.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 66 years, Barbara Leisner; daughters, Shirley Diane Leisner Sauls, Cynthia Eileen Leisner Elliott, and husband Ronald, Candy Renee Leisner Yeager, and husband Timothy; brothers, Robert Eugene Leisner, and wife Rosemarie, and Frank Marion Leisner; daughter–in-law Cay Leisner; grandchildren, Greg, Jr, Leigh Ann, Ronnie, Jr, Levi, Lisa, Cassie, Matthew, David, and Rebekah; 15 great-grandchildren, numerous other loving family and treasured friends. “In lieu of flowers, donations to Evergreen Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated.   PO Box 277, Coldspring, TX 77331”

Funeral Service for Fred will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 2 pm at Evergreen Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. Gary Ladner, officiating.

All services were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
