Glen Lee Cates

Glen Lee Cates, 61, of Cleveland, Texas passed away Wednesday May 1, 2019.  He was born Saturday, November 2, 1957, in Richmond California to Kenneth Billy Cates and Ella Dora (Arquette) Cates, both of whom have preceded him in death.  He is also preceded in death by granddaughter, Rebecca Abshere. Glen is survived by his wife of 46 years Ruth Cates; children Rachel Evans, Billy Cates, James Cates, Glenda Abshere and husband Ernie, Jesse Cates, Ella Cates, and Jo Lynn Cates; brother Robert Cates; sister, Barbara Teeters; 18 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.  Glen will be missed by everyone who knew him.

All arrangements were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.

Before creating Bluebonnet News in 2018, Vanesa Brashier was a community editor for the Houston Chronicle/Houston Community Newspapers.
