Dayton FFA livestock show wraps up with queen coronation, auction

Dayton FFA students racked up close to $200,000 for the sale of their livestock and mechanics projects at an auction on Saturday, May 18, at the Anson Rigby Memorial Arena. This year marked the 70th anniversary for the Dayton FFA Rodeo.

On Saturday night, a new Miss Rodeo Dayton FFA was crowned. For the next year, Maci Collins, a sophomore at Hardin High School, will wear the crown. She is the daughter of Mark and Kim Collins of Hardin.

The crown was presented by the 2018 Miss Rodeo Dayton FFA – Cheyanne Barrett of Tarkington – during Saturday night’s rodeo.
