Richard Ray “Ricky” Bobo

Richard Ray (Ricky) Bobo, age 57, of Kingwood, Texas went to be with the Lord, Monday, June 3, 2019. 

Ricky was born in Atlanta, Texas, to Richard and Mary Bobo.  He grew up in Tarkington playing sports, racing cars and boats and building friendships with Ricky and Kayla Bishop and Chip and Monica Wheeler to last his lifetime.  He loved his family and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Bobo.

He is survived by his wife Donna (Lou) Bobo; two daughters, Callie Raye Bobo, and Mackensie Bobo Burkett and husband, Jason Burkett; mother, Mary Allen; sister, Terri Bobo; two brothers: Brian and wife Cindy Bobo, and David Bobo; two grandchildren, Logan Brown and Addi Burkett; and many family members.

Friends and family are invited to attend celebration of life for Richard Ray Bobo to be held at Rural Shade Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas, 4 p.m., Sunday, June 9, 2019.  There will be reading of the Holy Scripture by Floyd C. Wheeler and the eulogy will delivered by Ricky Bishop. Friends and family are invited to gather in the church fellowship after the memorial service for a meal.

Special note from wife, Lou:  Ricky was a loving son, brother, husband, father and friend.  Ricky was like no other and I will miss him deeply.  Love, Lou and Family.
