Brenda Gale Fortune Brown

Brenda Gale Fortune Brown, 73, of Dayton passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in Dayton. Brenda was born May 30, 1946 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to parents, Jimmy James Fortune and Esther Lorraine Frizzell Fortune.
Service for Mrs. Brown will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2019 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Rev. Jeff Day will be officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil. Serving as pallbearers will be Steven West, Ryan Asher, Tilor McCreight, Kenneth Evans, Louis Asher, Michael James, Ronnie Mahaffey, and Eugene Brown.
Brenda was a long-time resident of the Dayton area. She always put her family first, loving her husband, children and grandchildren. She was one of the first assistant softball coaches in Dayton. She enjoyed fishing, Facebook and playing Texas Hold ‘Em. She will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Brenda was preceded in death by her grandmother, Johnny Noma Frizzell; grandfather, Herby Frizzell; parents, Jimmy and Esther Frizzell and grandson, B.J. Remmers. She is survived by husband, Doug Brown; sister, Juana Serda and husband Tony; daughters, Staci Asher and Louis Asher, Dina Brown, Shandra James and husband Michael; grandchildren, Steven West and wife Brittany, Ryan Asher and wife Allyson, Laisea Mahaffey, Robyn Presnull, Kandis Remmers, Tilor McCreight and wife Lauren, Kenneth Evans, Mackenzi James, Dusti Machacek, Gwen Bognich and Gabby Bognich; great-grandchildren, Taytum White, Brodeigh White, Garrett West, Brayden McCreight, Ava West, Bryson Nollkamper, Jaxsyn Mahaffey, Logan Felecia, Alexandria Risinger, Aubrey Risinger,; nephews, Jimmy, Jeffery, and Blake Griffin, Dwayne, Greg, and Eugene Brown; numerous other relatives and friends.
