Champion Lake Public Use Area to reopen on June 14

The Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge will re-open the Champion Lake Public Use Area on Friday, June 14.  The water has finally dropped below the deck on the fishing pier. 

The Champion Lake Public Use Area is located at the end of County Road 417 off of FM 1409 in southern Liberty and is free of charge. 

It is open from sunrise to sunset.  For further information, please contact the Refuge Manager at 936-336-9786.
