Louise Plummer Donatto, 89, of Liberty, Texas passed away unexpectedly at home in the arms of her husband of sixty-nine years, Raymond Donatto. She was born on April 16, 1930 in Raywood, Texas to Alfred Plummer and Elizabeth Stelly Plummer.
Louise was a giving and loving person. A true nurturer, she spent her entire life serving others. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She cared for many families through her employment with Home Health Care. Louise enjoyed gardening and baking. She was a member of the Ames City Council for over twenty years. She was also a life-long member of the Ladies of Auxiliary and Drexel Society. Louise joined Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Ames, Texas when she was sixteen years old and was a faithful member her entire life. She was always willing to volunteer or lend a helping hand. Louise will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Adam Plummer, Alfred Plummer, Jr., Freddie Joe Plummer, Michael Plummer and sister Edith Donatto. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of sixty-nine years Raymond Donatto; daughter Betty Lou Donatto; sons Roland Donatto, Joseph Donatto and wife Florence, Allen Donatto and wife LaShonda; brother Phillip James Plummer; sister Julia Simon; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers are Betty Donatto, Roland Donatto, Joey Donatto, Allen Donatto, Sylvester Plummer, Al Freeman Jr., Justin Walker and Shannon Donatto. Honorary pallbearers are Reggie Rollins, Shay Donatto, Pat Papillon, Patrick Webb, Darrion LaDay Donatto, Phillip James Plummer, Ahmar Tiger Donatto, Gerald Baldwin, Romond Mayweather, Lonnie Webb and Darryl Berrotte.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 9am at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church, 101 Donatto Dr. Liberty, Texas 77575. Rosary begins at 10am with Funeral Service starting at 11am.
