TVE Home Economics Committee seeks new members to help this year

New members are needed to serve and assist with the Home Economics Committee for Trinity Valley Exposition this year, according to Alexis Cordova, committee chair.

Members will be invited to meet prior to show to prepare for the contest, specifically building décor, setup and clean up, monitor judging and hospitality, building monitoring during the show, and collecting and distributing exhibitor awards and exhibitor donations. 

.All committee members must register with TVE by Aug. 1 by visiting tvefair.com, click on “Get Involved,” select “Volunteers” and fill out the committee membership information.  Membership fee is $25, which will provide you with show credentials.

The 2019 Home Economics schedule is posted on the website along with the Contest Rules and Guidelines. Anyone interested can contact Alexis at the Extension Office at 936-334-3230 or by email ancordova@ag.tamu.edu
