Brenda Joyce Lewis

Brenda Joyce Lewis, age 65 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019. She was born March 30, 1954 in Houston, Texas to parents David and Elizabeth Thompson who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Lewis was known for her green thumb. She loved gardening and flowers and also owned the Katy Flower Market. In her spare time, which was rare, Brenda could be found enjoying the outdoors, going out on the boat or just relaxing in nature.

Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Jere Lewis; step-daughter, Sara Novak and husband Justin; sister, Emily Moncrief and husband Joe; grandchildren, Sophia Morreno, Emma Morreno and Logan Novak; dog, Maxwell; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Coldspring, Texas.
