Cleveland police identify person of interest in vehicle burglaries

A suspect in recent vehicle burglaries in Cleveland has been identified as Maurilio Escamilla-Cantu.

Cleveland Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest in a rash of recent vehicle burglaries.

The alleged suspect may be going by the name Daniel Gonzales Morales or Maurilio Escamilla-Cantu, police say. He is also known by the nickname “Mauri.”

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Capt. James Primeaux with Cleveland Police Department’s criminal investigative unit. The number to call is 281-593-5579 or 281-592-2621.
