Dayton firefighters battling restaurant fire

Dayton firefighters were called to the 600 block of US 90 East in Dayton around 3 p.m. Friday to battle a blaze at Little Liberty, a restaurant that opened on the 600 block of US 90 East in Dayton less than six months ago. 

According to Police Chief Rob Vine, the restaurant was closed following the lunchtime crowd when the fire began. The origin of the fire is unknown at this time as firefighters are still working to extinguish the blaze. 

Dayton Fire Department is being assisted by Tarkington, Hardin, HWY 321, Liberty and Crosby fire departments.
