Scouts with Pack 8 in Dayton used their creativity to make boats out of recycled materials for the annual Raingutter Regata.
Scouts used pieces of wood and pool floats to make the boats buoyant, styrofoam dinner plates, paper and other items to create sails, and then blew into their sails to make the boats race with other entries.
The Scouts will be at National Night Out at Liberty Police Department on Aug. 6 to share information on how to join Scouting.
