Update: Missing teen from Plum Grove found safe

UPDATE: The missing girl from Plum Grove has been found safe, and her mother thanks everyone for sharing the news article.

A 16-year-old Plum Grove-area girl is missing and her family is growing more concerned by the hour for her safety.

Yesenia Gomez, 16, was last seen Tuesday, July 30, in the Rancho San Vicente Subdivision south of Plum Grove. She is described as 5-foot, 2-inches tall and weighing 119 pounds. She is Hispanic with brown eyes and straight, short brown hair.

She may be wearing jeans or sweat pants, black jacket and a white T-shirt. She has pierced ears and an old nose ring scar.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact law enforcement.
