John Mathew Moore Jr.

Graveside services for John Mathew Moore Jr., 55, of Dayton, will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 10 AM at Oakdale Cemetery in Daisetta. John passed from this life at home on Thursday, August 1, 2019. Mr. Moore was born on January 17, 1964 in Dallas to John Moore Sr. and Clara Amaya.

John has been a Liberty-Dayton area resident for many years. He was a faithful Christian man at the heart of all. Even though Mr. Moore didn’t have any big fancy degrees he was a brilliant man. John was for the most part self-educated in many subjects such as physics and electrical engineering. He had a mind that thrived on all things mechanical. He was always studying things to figure out how they worked. He could repair just about anything electrical or mechanical.  He was always a kind, caring, and friendly guy. John will always be remembered as a dedicated and loyal friend. He was a good and loving father as well. Mr. Moore will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

John is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Carol Moore.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his beloved daughter, Jennifer Lee Moore; and two friends, George Zwiebel, and Messina Robinson; as well as many other dear friends.
