Sterling Funeral Home lauded for support of Legion Post projects

Jerry Killion with American Legion Post 512 in Dayton presents a certificate of appreciation to Kim Mulkey with Sterling Funeral Home of Dayton. The funeral home is a proud supporter of veterans' groups like the Legion Post.

Sterling Funeral Home of Dayton was recently recognized with a certificate of appreciation from the Dayton American Legion Post 512 for its support for the Post’s projects including the annual Memorial Day service.

Sterling Funeral Home donated seven flag sets on stands for the Memorial Day service. The flag sets were for the Merchant Marines, Coast Guard, Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines, and the American flag.

“We have started offering families a place to have a reception following a funeral at the Post. Families of veterans get the use of the Post at no cost,” said Kim Mulkey with Sterling Funeral Home.
